Belo Recife is a 32 bedroom resort situated on a large 8ha site in Ponta Malongane, just 9.8km from Ponta do Ouro.

The hotel is perfectly located for guests to enjoy the tranquillity Mozambique has to offer as well as attractions such as deep sea fishing, paddling, scuba diving, snorkelling and dolphin watching just a few kilometres away in Ponta do Ouro. The lodge offers bed and breakfast rates and has a sumptuous lounge and large pool deck presenting stunning views over the ocean.

FAQ’s when booking at Belo Recife

Belo Recife is located at Kosi Bay Ponta Malongane, 3.7 miles from the center of Ponta d’Ouro. Malongane Park is the closest landmark.

Check-in time is 2:00 PM and check-out time is 10:00 AM.

Yes, Belo Recife has a pool onsite.

Absolutely! We have parking areas available for the parking for you jetskis, quads and even boats.

The road from Kosi Bay border to the Resort cuts through the Village of Ponta Do Ouro and then away Ponta Do Ouro  for about 5km on Soft Sea Sand and  Sand Dunes towards Ponta Malongane and its thus not accessible via normal car. You will have to use a 4×4 or 4×2 with Diff Lock or make use of Border transfer which is offered only from Kosi Bay Border to the Resort by an External Shuttle Service that is not affiliated to the Resort. The Cost of Border Transfer is R350 per person for a Return Transfer from Kosi Bay Border to the Resort. The Kosi Bay Border Gate closes at 17:00pm sharp!

For those guests who use their car to drive as far as the Border, there is a Long Term Parking Stay at the Kosi Bay Border for your vehicle to be parked @ R50 per day. Parking is in a Fenced off area.

People who wish to drive their own 4×4 or 4×2 bakkie with Diff Lock into Mozambique will require a Valid Driver’s License, Proof of Registration for the Vehicle, 3rd party Insurance available at the border and a letter from the current South African Insurer and Finance institute allowing the vehicle and driver access across the border.

If you own the vehicle you are driving then only you’re Passport/ID Document and the Vehicle Registration Certificate in your name is needed.

If the vehicle is owned by a different party from the driver then a letter of allowance from the owner and his/her ID or Passport copy is required.
